Long Intro

The Intro was a bit to long for me. It felt empty with it just being drums. Though they sound good, it was a little to much of it. I like it as soon as the bass started. Then the drop hit and it was like POW! right in kisser, awesome. However, when it dropped all the instruments back out, I didn't like it quite as much again. Overall I enjoyed the middle part so much I think it makes up for it.

I totally agree. That first minute is primarily just mix in time. To be honest I would have cut the intro in half but people have complained in the past for there not being enough mix in time for their sets. It's really a matter of play style so I completely understand if it doesn't fit your preferences, I personally have little use of it. And the same story applies to the mix out.

Well it definitely shows something

That is, how far you've come. Sounds fantastic. It's repetitive, but I didn't mind. It was, while intense, relaxing. Very well executed trance in my opinion. Only real complaint, though this could my imagination f***ing with me, but at 2:40-ish, it sounds like something's panning, and it is a little dizzying, maybe back it off a tiny bit, keep it, but not so far to each side. Other then that, the ending could be done a little bit better, it's too sudden, it just kind of goes, "Chord, END!" So yeah, good shit. :D

And the repetitiveness has to do with the theme. This is how I would have made a song a while back.

Overall good, just bring the guitar out a little more and it would have been a 10/10. Just a little bit is all I want out of it. Just that little bit.

Thanks. I know a lot of people seem to say the same thing, I'm still learning with mixing unfortunately it's hard to mix so many different sounds to where they are all clearly audible, I bring up the guitars and it washes out the strings and synth and vice versa lol. I'll keep trying to improve though :)

I love this song. It's not like generic trance, it's like hardstyle trance, just not really hardstyle. Just the same heavy feeling at certain points. Maybe I'm just crazy. Anyway, good song.

My Review

The main synth is a little weird sounding, not powerful enough in my opinion. The bass drum needs more kick. I do however like the snare build-ups. However they build up to nothing, so that part I didn't like as much. Also, don't always use the same exact build.

Beautiful

I love it. It's just perfect, but some of the grace notes struck to heavily in my opinion. Seems like the strokes need to be a little more gentle are parts. More smooth, though to be honest, this is hardly a problem. This song is simply beautiful. I love everything about it overall. The range of emotions I get from it are simply fantastic. <3

This is the kind of rap

That I would listen to. I don't like gangster rap, and I'm afraid that if they got a hold of this, they'd ruin it. This is something I'd expect out of something like Richie Nix, or Hollywood Undead. It's good stuff, a strong melody, emotion, and a solid beat. Love it.

I feel the same way, and I also love both those artists. I like rap that means something and that has a strong emotion. HU is my favorite band right now actually lol.

:D :D :D this is wonderful, in every way. This reminds me of Lord of the Rings. It's simply beautiful. There isn't a single thing I would fix with this song.

Anyway, it sounds good. The violins are little sharp in timbre. Overall, I like it though. Beautiful song. And personally, I like the ending chord, though it kind of ends suddenly. It might help if you dragged it out, and let the bass hold a bit longer then the higher instruments. It should give it a fuller sounds and a sense of finality. Just my opinion though :D Keep up the good work

Yeah I'll try that. I'm going to experiment a bit with this track, especially going to try harmonic strings and melodic woodwinds at the beginning.

Phaser/Flanger

Too much of it during certain parts. Also, I'm with Retroman the part where it drops and turns into hardstyle, the kick needs some much more. It's at 1:36 to be exact. Other then that. Sounds good, a bit trancy. I love it over all. Good stuff :D
